Imagine an automation game about producing not with machines, but people.

Start with a settlement of 100 people and turn it into a giant metropolis. Build many different factories like crushers, furnaces, or general assembling factories, connect them with roads, and assign people to carry materials between them. You will use these materials to improve the quality of life of your population, create new schools to unlock more professions, and research new technology!
